Meet the Band

 Sharon (Shiny Thing) -Vocals

Sharon trained at Mountview Theatre School in London, the school that has provided West End musicals with more performers than any other theatre school. Whilst she has deputised as lead vocalist in various bands, SKROO LOOSE is the first band lucky enough to have her as a permanent member.

George (Funky Man) -Rhythm Guitar and Vocals

It all started for George when he wanted to be Nile Rogers (the funky guitarist from Chic) and six months later was in his first band: Kudos. At eighteen he joined a band called 'The Six'. They won Central TV's “Band of the 80's” where the judges were Buster Blood Vessel, Micky Dolenz and Bruce Foxton. Ten years later he formed his own band; Duvet, specialising in music from the Sixties and Seventies. It was through Duvet that George developed his skills in sound mixing.

Gary -Drums

Vintage Ludwig Drums fanatic, plays a 1978 Ludwig Tequila-Sunrise Vistalite with Paiste 2002 cymbals. Has been playing for 150 years and has a varied repertoire from disco to rock. Taught by Deep Purple's Ian Paice (well by listening to him and watching him anyway!!!).

Martin (Feel the power of my fusion lick)-Lead Guitar

Originally a cellist, Martin took his finger style (as well as calluses) to university where he picked up his first guitar in a desperate attempt to sound like David Gilmour. Twenty years later he still isn't lead guitarist with Pink Floyd but has gained experience through playing clubs and pubs with Duvet.

 Steve -Bass

Steve formed his first band when he was twelve and hasn't stopped playing since. He turned professional in the Seventies and has toured Europe in rock, pop and comedy bands. Something of a comedian, he also provides a bit of stand-up between songs.
