At the age of 14, I got seriously interested in
writing programs for computers in the humble days of the Sinclair ZX81 and Sinclair spectrum, before the IBM PC was born and before Windows was even conceived by Bill Gates. Leaving school, i went into a Business Study course and started work as a programmer for a commercial company, were I engineered software onsite for customers.
All the way through my career, I have worked as a systems analyst first, then a programmer, ensuring that I understand every element of the customers operation in order to write the program to fulfill all there current requirements and future expansion of the program.
